Will NATO leave Afghan women at risk?

A new article by Vibeke B. Thomsen was published today by the Women Under Siege Project. It discusses the upcoming departure of ISAF from Afghanistan and its implication on the lives and rights of women. The article argues that for the country to thrive post-war, ISAF will have to place a special emphasis on gender issues and continue to hold the government accountable for its actions on women’s rights.
